At the heart of Manhattan’s Upper West Side, art collector and fashion startup CEO Isabella Laurent has curated a home that is as much a gallery of modern living as it is a personal sanctuary. Situated on the 62nd floor of 50 W 66th Street, her 9,678-square-foot residence fuses modern-luxury design with iconic Louis Vuitton and Versace Home furnishings, creating a space where sophistication, artistry, and lifestyle seamlessly converge.
The living room embraces a modern-luxury aesthetic, defined by sculptural furniture and statement lighting. A sweeping, curved sectional sofa in soft green anchors the space, balancing warmth with freshness. Complementing it are low-slung tufted beige seats, adding both texture and depth. Overhead, a geometric chandelier with floating glass orbs becomes the room’s celestial centerpiece, radiating elegance and artistry.

Floor-to-ceiling windows stretch across the living area, filling the space with natural light while connecting the interiors to breathtaking panoramic city views. A layering of materials—brushed metals, natural stone, plush upholstery, and warm wooden floors—adds tactile richness, enhancing the luxurious atmosphere.

Favorite Element
“The circular green sectional sofa is my favorite element,” Isabella shares. “It transforms the living room into a social hub, encouraging connection and conversation. Its sculptural form softens the architecture, while the chandelier ties everything together like a constellation.”

Biggest Challenge & Solution
The biggest challenge was defining intimacy within such an expansive, open-plan layout. The solution was thoughtful zoning with curved, modular seating and layered lighting. The sectional subtly separates the lounge from circulation paths, while chandeliers, pendant lights, and floor lamps create distinct yet connected zones. This ensured the home retained its openness without sacrificing coziness.

Budget
Approximately $120,000 was invested into the primary furnishing and design installation, with a focus on statement furniture and collectible-quality lighting.

For Isabella, this home is more than a physical space—it’s a reflection of her art collector’s eye and entrepreneurial lifestyle. The arrangement of sculptural furniture fosters lively gatherings with friends, while the panoramic views inspire her creative work. The blend of Louis Vuitton and Versace furnishings not only reflects her passion for luxury craftsmanship but also creates an environment where daily life feels both elegant and intentional.

“My advice for designing a luxury home,” Isabella notes, “is to balance grandeur with intimacy. Even in the largest spaces, create zones that encourage connection—because the most luxurious feeling of all is comfort.”
